I am thinking about getting small locks. I have soft wavy/curly hair? I'm thinking of going small but I am afraid that my hair will break off. Does anyone have any ideas of how small of lock one can have before they are too small?
Depends on your hair written by AmyM,

Hi Jen,
It would depend on you and what you are willing to take care of. The smaller the lock the more time it will take to maintain it.
Also, if your hair is wavy/curly it may be more resistant to traditional methods of locking like twisting or coiling. If you haven't looked into Sisterlocks you might want to. That method is really good for hard to lock hair and there is generally less manipulation than with traditional twisted methods.
