After years of trial and error, my daughter's hair and I have declared a truce. It has never been more easy for me to manage and she no longer cries when she sees me with a comb. There's just one problem left: no matter how much I wash it, it attracts lint and other little fibers. I don't use heat appliances on her hair except for the flat iron that I use 5 times a year, tops. I clean my combs and brushes regularly, I've bought new pricey combs and brushes, and it does no good. I thought that maybe I wasn't shampooing long enough, nope. Maybe I should comb it all out first, no. Perhaps if I comb it while it has shampoo in it and again with conditioner in it and AGAIN while it was still wet...nuh-uh. I've bought new towels and lint brushes and they don't help. So I come to you, sistas. Short of rubbing the child's hair down with a dryer sheet, can anyone suggest a remedy for this problem? Thanx in advance. |
