One of the first things that you will probably want to know when you are transitioning from a perm to a relaxer is, “How can I style my hair?” Don’t worry with this list you will run of relaxer to cut off before you run out of ways to style your hair.

If you want to have substantial growth before you cut off all of your perm, then you many want to transition for six months to a year. If you want to wear a TWA (Teeny Weeny Afro) then you only will need an inch or two of new growth.

Whatever you decide here are 199 protective transitional styles to keep you in ideas from now well into your natural journey. Yep, the added benefit is that they all can be done when your hair is natural too.
