I've been natural for two and a half years. My hair is coily, very coily and very thick. The process to get my hair to a nice afro is combing it out, braiding it and then taking it down and picking it out. Simple right? No! My head gets sore two - three days after doing that. So I'm trying the wash and go, but my hair is sooo tight that it looks like I drastically cut my hair. What do I do to reduce some of the tightness of my hair for a great afro without the "head ache" of sore head? Am I doing something wrong? niknik
