I just found this website today and I happened to stumble upon this article. I had been following this technique for several months and I can attest that it works!! I have tried (and failed) in the past all my previous attempts to 'go natural'. My problem was that I would have braids (extentions) that were just damaging to my hair and scalp. I could never maintain healthy natural hair and I would always give in to getting a relaxer anyway. So finally, in April of '08, I decided to try again but this time with the help of wigs. My natural hair is healthy, most people think I'm just wearing a weave and I have virtually no breakage or damage to deal with.
