I only shampoo my hair once a month but i do condition rinse my hair weekly. What is a good shampoo to use I currently use herbal essence but it leaves my hair feeling limp and dull after. - Marty81

i used a baking soda pasta a few says ago. i simply added enough water to about 1/4 cup of baking soda to make it into a paste. then i put the paste between my twists and gently rubbed it into my scalp. i left it on my hair for five minutes then i rinsed it in the shower. i think i'll do this every now and then when i feel like i have a lot of buildup- but i doubt i'll be using commecial shampoo anytime soon - augusta
